Hey there fellas! It’s a day to the official love day of the year and I know you are thinking of how to wrap those gifts that you got your loved ones (those of you that are generous, that is); but let’s put a pin in that for a minute, yes?
A friend and I were talking about long distance relationships (LDRs) yesterday and how I am really terrible at them, ‘cause if you are not near enough to constantly be in my mind then Houston we might have a problem!
Same goes for your brand and the kind of love you want from your clients – do you want a long distance relationship (where they might forget you ‘cause you are not consistent or you don’t pursue and check up on them every now and then, or just for the plain fact that your brand character is bad!) or do you want a long term relationship (as opposed to a one-time purchase, etc).
Every brand should aim at winning the hearts of their customers, forming a bond, making them feel special – you know, like you would in a romantic relationship! Or else one (tall, dark and handsome) competitor will just come and take them away!
